Who we are

AMINOX is an independent UK editorial and decision-support service for licensed weight-loss medication. We are not a clinic or pharmacy. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. Questions: privacy@aminox.co.uk.

What we collect

Email address — if you join our newsletter or complete the match quiz.
Quiz answers — including weight-related health information you choose to share. This is special-category (health) data and we only process it with your explicit consent.
Usage analytics — privacy-friendly, aggregated, cookie-light measurement of how pages are used.
Affiliate click data — when you click through to a clinic, so we can be credited and improve our recommendations. We do not sell this.

Why we use it (legal basis)

Consent — for processing your health answers to recommend providers, and for marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Legitimate interests — for aggregate analytics and to run and improve the service, balanced against your rights.

Who we share it with

We never share your health answers with clinics. When you click through to a provider, only an anonymous conversion event may be shared for commission attribution. We use trusted processors (hosting, database, email, analytics) under data-processing agreements, and we do not sell your data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Quiz and email data: until you ask us to delete it, or after a period of inactivity. Analytics: aggregated and retained only as needed. You can request deletion at any time (below).

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Email privacy@aminox.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum and use privacy-friendly analytics. Any non-essential cookies are only set with your consent.
